MAPMAPMAP

POLE TOWN CEMETERY

Is located about 1.6 miles west of the intersection of Hwy 80 and St. Hwy 110 (Main Street Grand Saline). It is presently on private property, but was once situated in or near the old community of Rhodesburg. Some graves are marked only with rocks and some are unmarked. Permission must be obtained from the property owner before visiting the cemetery which is about 300 yards off Hwy 80. The oldest recognizable grave in this cemetery is that of Sindyrillah Parker b. 13 Dec, 1857 d. 26 Jun, 1860. She was the daughter of Chesley & Mary Parker who are also buried there.
