The original information (without pictures) was furnished by Paulette Flym. It was taken from an article that ran in the Van Zandt News in 1994 featuring Van Zandt County men and women of WWII. This information was obtained from a book. If you do not find your veteran on this list, it doesn't mean he or she did not serve in WWII. It merely means his or her family at that time did not submit the information and picture to the publisher of the book entitled The Men and Women in World War II from Van Zandt County. One of the books was given to Betty Miller by a relative whose veteran appears in the book. Additions, corrections, complaints and compliments should be submitted to Betty Miller and Betty Phillips.
